The 7th Post

Head em up move em out head em up move em out - rawhide.....

Do dooo do oo doo - You can sing it to the tune of Fernando By Abba - bizzarre at 1pm in the afternoon when that pops in my head.

Ahh the fresh afternoon of Tasmanian air. Living in the CBD has made my lungs long for the country filtered air. All those paddocks of grass to help filter out the crappy carbon monoxide, toxic, diesel and yucky smelly things of the urban industrialised civilisation we know as Little Lonnie.

Makes it worse in winter to step out of the house close to the evening and by the time you've done your grocery shopping and walking back home u smell like you've been smoking in a bar - that sells tree cigarettes. The air quality is pretty damn poor so there is some lethal irony or unfortunate twist of fate that when I walk to work that I am trying to be healthy but in reality I am walking thru a field of smogginess.

Which reminds me.

Does anyone remember the French Canadian? series called "The Smoggies"? It was an environmentally friendly show before the spacco times of Capt. Planet and that weird multicultural "token foreign teens" crew. They were sunny and had rainbow coral. Anyone remember? I hope so. It was awesome. And cool. And not to mention educational. I mean it taught me how to take evasive action when some bad non environmentally conscious or friendly person was trying to steal away my rainbow coral.

The obsession with youth sickens me and makes me grow old.

Lesson 1: Don't breathe. At least try not to breathe in bad air.
Lesson 2: Grocery shop during the day. Less woodsmoke.
Lesson 3: If someone steals your rainbow coral - cry
