K, why is there such an obsession about Rei Ayanami? What is with the introverted antisocial no skills daggy not too square average girl next door kinda blue haired waif looking under developed mentally crushed sad depressive wind up doll of a girl??
Seriously.
If I was some kind creator of a genetically mutated half person I would be like so not making her like that.
She needs prozac. Vallium. A hair style or something.
Surely with all the wonderful clones that the thought of immortality to the extent of knowledge share in a test tube would be pretty damned awesome to most people. Then again the creator of the series is not most people. He had mother issues. Serious Women issues. Issues full stop
And why do I get the feeling that this is a continuous effect on males of the younger kind? Rei is not real - and if she were real - do you really want some self indulgent wallowing in her own remorseful depressive state of semi conscious pitiful excuse of an existence girlfriend?
Bah. BTW I watched both movies back to back and thought the giant Rei and Kaworu was really really dodgy looking.
